![]() | Bridle This is a vegetable-tanned leather using a large amount of natural oil impregnated into the hide to give it a beautifully smooth surface. Colours generally range from dark browns to light tans. |
![]() | Upholstery There are three options to choose from within the upholstery category. These are dependent on texture, colour, budget, and availability. As opposed to bridle, the hides are chromed tanned to make it softer whilst still retaining its strength. This leather is more supple and pliable than a vegetable-tanned leather. More colours are possible using chrome tanning. |
![]() | Recycled Reconstituted leather is composed of 90-100% leather fibers. These are often scrap from leather tanneries or leather workshops, and are bonded together with latex binders to create a look and feel similar to that of leather for a fraction of the cost. This bonded leather is not as durable as other leathers but it is possible to get it colour matched in smaller quantities than is required for bespoke runs of leather. |
![]() | Textured Leather We can also source further leathers such as goat, reptile, stingray, cashmere, and ostrich. The prices in this category increase dramatically. However, prints such as reptile and goat are also available as imitation leathers. Please speak to a Q advisor for further information. |
